Scholars Edge Painting is hiring painters for the upcoming 2026 spring and summer season. This is the ideal position if you are interested in gaining new skills, making connections and earning great money during the summer months. Work will take place in Northwest Calgary and the surrounding communities.
What We Offer:
No Experience required. Comprehensive hands-on training is provided.
Work alongside a driven team of student aged individuals.
Competitive earnings ($12,000-$16,000 over the summer)

Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and patching holes or cracks.
Apply paint or other finishes, to indoor and outdoor projects, using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Use tape, drop cloths and plastic to protect surrounding areas from paint.
Follow safety guidelines and wearing PPE when necessary
Move ladders, paint cans and other painting equipment
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time
Desired Qualifications:
Must have a cell phone.
Access to reliable transportation to and from various job site locations. Having a vehicle is desirable but not required.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
Physical stamina and agility to endure extended periods of standing, lifting and working at heights.
Attention to detail driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality results for the customer.
Punctual, driven, with excellent time management skills.
Previous painting experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
