The Argo Aurora 950SX 8x8 is a premium Extreme Terrain Vehicle (XTV) designed to handle challenging conditions both on land and in water. It features 8-wheel drive, allowing for superior traction and manoeuvrability across mud, snow, swamps, and rugged terrain; it can also float and travel across water surfaces.
Key Features
The Aurora 950SX is equipped with a VX 950 V-Twin EFI engine, producing about 40 horsepower and reaching speeds up to 25 mph (40 km/h) on land and 3 mph (5 km/h) on water. The vehicle seats up to 6 passengers on land and 4 passengers in water, with a land load capacity of approximately 1,000 lbs (450 kg). With amphibious capabilities, advanced steering and transmission systems (Admiral transmission with ARGO Progressive Steering), and very low ground pressure, it excels in search-and-rescue, hunting, utility, and recreational applications where standard vehicles cannot operate effectively.
