Hello,
My name is Alex. I'm from Vancouver.
I am looking for a room to rent in Calgary, and I need it for the 1st.The cheaper the better!
I am very flexible when it comes to my living situation; meaning that I can accommodate to any personality types of who I live with. I currently live in a nice place with my best friend of 25 years, but I need to be in Calgary by November 1st. I have steady income that will float me for one year; enough to pay rent. I work full-time here in Vancouver; meaning that I will be looking for a place to work while I am in Calgary.
I study online part-time AML as I am a banker by trade, and I am saving up to go to Dentistry school starting September 2026 abroad, but I need to save up for it which is why I need to move to Calgary. I'm a medical school drop out 10 years in the running––hooray!!! (school sucks anyways).
I work full-time in Vancouver but the wages are a bit on the low side. I am not a smoker–– I play Rugby and practice Track for fun now that I am in my early 40's. You can be a smoker or drinker or party-er or even a sophisticated academic_ a philanthropist, neither bothers me as I can accommodate to you; as I've had my college days as well––a tales of long ago. Today, I'm an old impotent divorcee that sticks to his decades old macbook nowadays. As per hobbies, I practice Astronomy, study French and ASL and I exercise––I was an aerobics instructor for 17 years.
Please note that I would be bringing one luggage with clothing and another one with my telescope gear and my microscope––I hope there's a corner I can park it in (under the bed works too!). I'll even accept a floor mattress or a couch, in that case, the telescope makes for cosy sleeping company (I named her Blue Bertha). I can deal with that part later.
Please note that I cannot go and simply view the suite in Calgary as I need a soft parachute landing pad once I arrive in Calgary––we could chat over webcam or via messenger if you want, and by parachute I literally mean leaving on the next flight out of town––tied to the wing if I have to!
