• Position: Cement Finisher
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Hours: 30–44 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible hours with overtime available
• Wage: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience and skill level)

Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and verify formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement prior to concrete placement
• Direct and control concrete placement according to grade and specifications
• Operate power vibrators and tools to properly compact concrete
• Screed, level, and finish concrete surfaces to required depth and finish
• Apply a variety of concrete finishes using hand and power tools
• Install embedded items such as anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills
• Apply curing, sealing, waterproofing, and hardening compounds
• Repair, restore, damp-proof, and waterproof existing concrete surfaces
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area

Experience & Skills
• Experience Required: 2 to less than 3 years as a Cement Finisher
• Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials
Materials & Systems Experience
• Colours, sealers, and decorative finishes
• Hardeners and epoxy systems
• Lightweight concrete
• Mastic flooring
• Reinforcing membranes and protective coverings

• Criminal record check
• Valid driver’s licence verification
• Drug testing may be required
• Steel-toed safety boots required
