I have over a decade of experience in Behavioural Intervention, primarily utilizing empathic and compassionate approaches rather than applied behavioural analysis techniques. The key difference, especially when working with children, is getting on their level and forming a rapport with them that treats them humanely and with dignity, rather than like an animal being rewarded for completing tasks and achieving milestones. I have helped families across BC and recently moved to Calgary and I am looking to serve the community with in-house visits. I can be paid through the Autism Funding Unit for your convenience as well.
