Job duties:
1. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the delivery of dental prosthetic services provided by the dental laboratory, ensuring alignment with clinical treatment plans and quality standards.
2. Consult with dental professionals and clients to establish and maintain internal protocols and standards for the production and delivery of dental prosthetics
3. Develop and oversee quality assurance systems to evaluate the precision, effectiveness, and patient-specific customization of all dental prosthetic products.
4. Monitor and analyse the use of laboratory resources, technician workloads, equipment, and material consumption to ensure efficient utilization and minimize operational waste.
5. Develop and implement strategic plans for expanding services, integrating new technologies (such as CAD/CAM and 3D printing), acquiring new equipment and materials, and projecting future staffing needs.
6. Plan and manage the departmental budget, monitor revenues and expenditures, and ensure financial accountability for all operations within the laboratory.
7. Represent the dental laboratory in meetings with regulatory agencies, partner clinics, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with health regulations and promote institutional partnerships.
8. Supervise technical staff and department supervisors, providing leadership in recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training, performance evaluation, and workplace culture development.
9. Recruit, schedule, and manage dental laboratory technicians and related support staff to ensure optimal coverage, service delivery, and alignment with industry standards.
