Job Description:
Our locally owned café in Calgary is seeking a skilled Café Manager to oversee daily operations. The Manager will be responsible for staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Key Duties:
• Plan, organize, and direct café operations
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff
• Schedule staff and manage payroll
• Maintain inventory and order supplies
• Monitor revenues, budgets, and cost controls
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
• Implement marketing and promotional initiatives
Requirements:
• 2–3 years experience in café or restaurant management
• Secondary school education required; post-secondary in hospitality is an asset
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
• English language proficiency
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
