One of our last chances to pick up a 4 cyliner classic by BMW, Model 2002. Imported from Oregon, USA in 2016, never been driven on Alberta roads. Requires complete restoration, some rust, engine was last started in 2018 and driven onto a flat deck to be moved to the farm for storage in Rosebud, Alberta (which s 90 km north east of Calgary) and hasn't been started since. Has a broken shaft in the engine compartment, hence clacking noise when engine was started. Transmission 4 speed works fine. Has 4 after market tire rims, but rubber should be replaced. Has manual sun roof, solid shock towers front and rear, clear coating peeling off the car, was not a good paint job to begin with but this was the way I bought it. If you're familiar with these little cars, the wheel well where the spare tire was stored had rusting problems, so there is rust going through the metal due to mositure and being the area right behind the left passenger seat beside the gas tank, getting hit and pitted with stones and rocks. But easlily repaired with a new wheel well or fibre glass and bondo. Front two seats have been restored and rear seat needs to be reupholstered. This car has not been registered in Alberta since it was not restored and saftied for Alberta roads, however, car is free and clear of any liens and encumbrances. Car is more than 90% in good solid steel conditon and definitely worthwhile to restore, super economical on gas with just a 4 cyinder engine especially now that gas has gone up, no extra environmental parts, just a regular muffler, !! Great weather on the horizon so let me know if you're interested in viewing and picking up this classic for a song, asking $5,500, please no low ballers. A very good investment for a resoration and hobby project. Once restored these cars are sold from $36k and upwards.
